Does Block Styles add any blocks?

Not at this time. We enhance the core blocks you already have. We do have plans for adding some useful blocks soon.

Does Block Styles work support FSE?

Yes, Block Styles work with the Full Site Editor. Some block functions are limited. 

Can Block Styles be used with Elementor, Beaver Builder, or other Popular Page Builders?

Block Styles can work alongside your Page Builder of choice in the block editor but can not be used inside any other page builder at this besides the core Page Builder or Gutenberg.

Does Block Styles support responsive changes?

Yes! We support 3 breakpoints and will soon have support for custom media queries.  

Can you enable Block Styles for custom blocks?

You sure can! We have added hooks and filters and have the full process documented on our site.

Do you have plans to support X block?

We are happy to work with any plugin developer and they can add support on their own at any point. We will do our best to add the most popular brands as long as their blocks are coded to the most recent block standards. 

What if a block does not support most of the styling elements?

Don’t worry, you can wrap your block in a group block, column, or row block. Or you can always write out your desired CSS in our advanced CSS panel.  

Does Block Styles work with Block Patterns & Reusable Blocks?

Sure! If moving blocks to a different site, make sure the Block Styles plugins is activated first.

Does Block Styles work with my theme?

Yes, Block Styles should work with your WordPress theme. We also have our own Gesso Theme.

Dynamic Content

Does Dynamic Content for WordPress work with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)?

Yes, ACF & ACF PRO

Can a section of a WordPress block by dynamic?

Yes! Dynamic Content currently works with most Gutenberg core blocks.

What if the data changes?

If the content changes in the database, it will automatically update on the front-end of your site on the next refresh.

Can I add my own endpoints?

Yes, review to our documentation on adding your own data source.

Does Dynamic Content integrate with the Yoast plugin?

Yes, our plugin integrates with the Yoast SEO plugin.

Can I create my own custom fields?

Yes! When editing a post or page, you can add your own custom fields towards the bottom of the page.

Can I purchase Dynamic Content separately?

Our Dynamic Content plugin is not sold individually and is only available with a Block Styles membership.

Can I create block patterns using any WordPress blocks?

Yes! Simply select the content you wish to make into a block pattern, then click Add to Block Pattern.

Am I able to download my block patterns?

Yes, in the WordPress admin area you are able to download your block patterns via a JSON file

Can I categorize and tag my block patterns?

Absolutely!

Is there a limit to how many block patterns I can create?

No, you can create as many block patterns as you want.

Can I purchase Styles Library separately?

Our Styles Library plugin is only available with a Block Styles membership.

What is the difference between block patterns in Styles Libary and the Block Patterns page?

They are they same.

Will Gesso work with other page builders?

Should work with most page builders, but has not been fully tested.

Is the theme really free?

`Yes, The membership gives you access to our premium plugins, block pattern, and priority support.

Do you need any other plugins to make the theme work?

No, but we recommend at least leveraging the styles library plugin.
